"The Runaway Bride" is a great example of one giving up their identity for the wrong reasons.... I can relate. I also gave up my identity and rights to have preference and choices.
My day of awaking was "My Favorite Color" (Its a post already on my blog)... But like you I have and continue to regain a piece of my identity with each step...
Oh and btw....Crunchy peanut butter Rocks! LOL...
Thank you for supporting my efforts of sharing...touched2mysoulhttphttp://touched2mysoul.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8277645854349719555.post-74416145362432284482011-08-24T15:13:26.713-04:002011-08-24T15:13:26.713-04:00I can relate. For me it was more than just giving...I can relate. For me it was more than just giving up my values; I gave up my entire identity or any right to have a preference. I was as bad as the character from "The Runaway Bride"....I had no idea what kind of peanut butter I preferred. It takes a long time to tune in to the inner voice, but each time we do, it gets easier and easier to find.

I like crunchy peanut butter, btw! lolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
